Day 1
Delhi – Chandigarh (248 kms/ 5-6 hrs)
- Arrive Delhi and transfer to Chandigarh, situated in the valley surrounded by Shiwalik Hills that hem the great Himalayas.
- Arrive and proceed to your hotel rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities.
- Overnight at the hotel
Day 2
Chandigarh – Manali (274 kms/7-8 hrs)
- Following a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to Manali by road a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 metres.
- Set amidst pine-clad mountains which gradually closes in on both sides of the Beas and it nestles in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest.
- Upon arrival proceed to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Manali
- This morning take a walking tour of Manali, visit the 450 year old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving.
- Tibetan Monastery and a Handicraft Center. Rest of the day at leisure OR optionally you may walk to nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for hot sulphur springs.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Manali
- This morning you will visit the Solang Valley, which offers a spectacular view of glaciers and snowcapped peaks.
- A place not to be missed is Rohtang Pass, 51 kms from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (Direct payment & subject to weather conditions and road being open).
- Rest of the day is at leisure OR take a stroll down the Mall road.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 5
Manali – Shimla (260 kms/7-8 hrs)
- This morning you will visit the Kullu valley, celebrated as the valley of Gods.
- Later you will be transferred by road to Shimla, the former summer capital of the British and India’s premier hill station.
- Arrive and proceed to your hotel,rest of the day is at leisure.
- Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Shimla
- This morning you will visit Kufri, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hours drive from Shimla and a popular ski resort during the winter months.
- Later this afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, visit the Jakoo Hills which offers a panoramic view of Shimla town, the Vice regal lodge and later walk down the Mall road.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Shimla – Parwanoo (160 kms/3-4 hrs)
- Following a leisurely breakfast you will proceed to Parwanoo situated majestically at a height of 5000 feet in the lap of the Shivalik ranges offering some stunning views.
- Arrive and proceed to your resort.
- Rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities.
- Overnight at the hotel
Day 8
Parwanoo – Delhi (280 kms/7-8 hrs)
Early this morning you will be transferred by road to Delhi for your onward journey back home.
